Weekly Diary: February 14-20, 2025

Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of February 14-20 2025. ! This diary took place in Naples, Florida which is my Florida residence and Tampa, Florida.

Friday, February 14th - Valentine's Day - I get up close to 7:30am and got dressed. I wore a Tommy Hilfiger blush pink 3/4 sleeves sweater with a small heart on the top right of the sweater, blush pink casual capri pants, and matching bead dangle heart earrings. I placed an order from Einstein Bagels via DoorDash so I got avocado toast on Asiago cheese bagel for breakfast. I opened my Valentine's Day cards from my mom and my aunt with lottery tickets, I won $5 lottery scratch tickets. I skipped lunch because I was having a big dinner. I received a golden shell necklace from my cousin Karen whom I borrowed her similar necklace when she was in town last month. I wrote a thank you text to her. . I went to The Warehouse for dinner with my caregiver. I got a 4-course meal with a raspberry lemon drop martini- Provolone cheese fondue, watermelon feta salad, house made linguine with shrimp, and grandma's chocolate cream pie. It was a fantastic dinner. I was chatting with my bestie via text - we wish we were celebrating Galentine's Day together. But we will always be in our hearts 💞

Saturday, February 15th- I ate a banana for breakfast. I read my dad's poem for me via email. It was such a beautiful poem- it brought tears of joy and emotion to my eyes. 🥹  My dad gave me some interesting ideas about my blog. He created a sample picture of Cincinnati-Florida via AI.  I learned how to create a picture through ChartGPT (ChartGPT is a powerful AI tool that allows me to type anything I want to create a picture and a document, and learn facts). I edited my blog. I ate a leftover baked ziti with blackened shrimp for lunch. I went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner what my caregiver. It's one of my favorite restaurants. I had a spiked pink lemonade, lemon herb parmesan chicken with asparagus, and a slice of Adam's peanut butter ripple cheesecake. I used a gift card and my credit card to pay for dinner. I saw there was a Sweet 116 birthday party near my table at the restaurant. The waiter brought an ice cream sundae to a birthday gift and they sang happy birthday to her. I got a small stain from lemon chicken on my pants - it made me feel so mad. When I got home from dinner, I had a caregiver spray a stain cleaner on my stash During my night routine,  my caregiver put my pjs on me while sitting on the toilet. While I was sitting on the toilet alone, my caregiver put my clothes away. Before getting done using the bathroom, I was about to fall out of the toilet when I sneezed and I used my vocalization to alert my caregiver to save me from falling out of the toilet. I thought in my mind that I was saying "Help, save me!" My caregiver thought I was letting her know that I got done using the bathroom. She was in shock to watch me almost falling out of the toilet- she was able to save me from the fall. I can't believe in my eyes! I thanked her for saving me from falling out of the toilet. I thought it was supposed to be a scary and devastating accident but it turned out to be a brave and courageous moment. I felt bravely joyful that I got saved from the fall. Thank God for saving my spirit from danger!  I feel like a strong woman would save me from the danger. It's a blessing that God has saved me from my accidents! When my parents got home, I noticed that my mom borrowed one of my purses - Tory Burch white peach basket-like leather tote. It was nice for my mom to borrow the purse. I was blogging all night while watching Friends on my iPad. (In fact, I started watching Friends a couple of months ago because I have recognized one of my favorite actresses, Jennifer Aniston in some of her films I watched and heard about her 5 Friends co-stars before starting watching the series. I thought it was an incredible and hilarious friendship series. I am obsessed with Friends because I can't stop watching lovely, kind, sweet, funny, entertaining, and emotional moments. Friends is an amazing TV classic series truly represents the circle of friendship, romance, and life!)
My dad wrote this beautiful poem for me. 🥰
Sunday, February 16th - I ate Asiago cheese bagel with regular cream cheese for breakfast. I worked on itineraries for February 18-25 with my caregiver Danielle and March 3-10 with my caregiver from Cincinnati. I managed my blog. I ate a leftover spaghetti squash for lunch. I went to walk around the neighborhood with my caregiver, Amanda. We got splashed by the sprinklers 3 times while we were walking around. The sprinklers made me somewhat wet. Lol. 😂 We went to Mel's Diner for dinner - I had fried pickles, tossed salad, and crab cakes with sweet potato and steamed veggies. Amanda got a cheeseburger meal without bun and an ice cream sundae.  When I got home from dinner, I ate some orange sherbet for dessert so my mom fed me.

Monday, February 17th - I stayed home all day. I ate a spinach quiche for breakfast. I was working on my iPad including blogging and researching how to add email subscription to my blog. I ate leftover linguine from The Warehouse for lunch. I got a BBQ chicken salad and a peach lemonade from California Pizza Kitchen for dinner via DoorDash. I saw on social media that Delta plane crashed upside down at the airport in Toronto - Luckily, all passengers survived the plane.

Tuesday, February 18th - I ate Asiago cheese bagel with regular cream cheese for breakfast. My parents left for their vacation to Vegas. They are gone for a week. I am with my caregiver Danielle while my parents are in Vegas. Danielle and I were packing for our trip to Tampa. We are going there this Thursday. This will be my first time visiting Tampa. I will be posting about what I did in Tampa this weekend. I'm so excited! I ate Sargento cheese and wheat thins snack and banana with peanut butter for lunch. I went to the hair salon to get a highlighter done. The service lasted approximately 90 minutes. I had my bangs trimmed. The hairstylist did a great job on doing my hair. I loved it - see my new hair look! After my hair appointment, Danielle and I went to Carrabbas for dinner with her mom and dad her friend. We celebrated Danielle's mom's birthday at the restaurant. I gave my birthday message to her and she kindly thanked me so much. I ate a side Caesar salad and a grilled vegetable ravioli. I drank a rose sangria. Danielle got a fettuccine with steak and shrimp in a roasted garlic cream sauce. She told me that we are having that meal for dinner tomorrow. The dinner was fantastic. While I was showering, I noticed that bloody spots on my thighs were going up at least 4 times. Danielle and I managed to stop bleeding spots. The spots were little. That made me mad. But, my thighs were okay.
The hairstylist applies highlights on my hair through a foil.

My new highlights!

I had a veggie ravioli dinner and a rose sangria at Carrabba's.

Wednesday, February 19th - I ate 2 three-cheese omelet bites for breakfast. Danielle and I went to the beach from 10am to 1pm. Danielle's mom joined us for the beach. We ate a delicious sandwich lunch at the beach. The weather was beautiful. When we got home from the beach, we finished packing for our Tampa trip. I was texting my parents about how their day in Vegas was. I had PT. We ate a leftover meal from Carrabbas for dinner. (That was mentioned on Tuesday). I video called my bestie and we talked about her plan to come meet me at the Hard Rock Casino next month.

Thursday, February 20th -  I visited Tampa for the first time yesterday. I spend the day at Busch Gardens (it is an animal themed amusement park featuring many roller coasters and thrill rides and animal exhibits). I rode 5 roller coasters and rides including Cheetah Hunt, Cobra’s Curse, Tigris, Serengeti Flyer, and Serengeti Express Train (the train is wheelchair accessible). I transferred from my wheelchair to those rides except the train. I felt pretty comfortable riding those rides except the Serengeti Flyer which made me get a light headache. lol. I saw many animals including my favorite animals, flamingo and giraffe. It was such a fun, wild, and thrilling experience. The weather had a high of 66 degrees- mild and little warm.  The amusement park is fully accessible and family-friendly.  My favorite parts of Busch Gardens were riding the Cheetah Hunt and seeing my favorite animals. Afterwards, I had a great evening at Hard Rock Casino Tampa. There is a golden piano owned by Elvis in the lobby of the casino resort. I ate a delicious dinner with a Pretty In Pink Margarita at Sugar Factory inside the casino (This was my second time dining at the restaurant, I visited there in Vegas as the first timer 7 years ago). Then I enjoyed playing slot machines. My first visit to Tampa was so amazing . I love the city- it’s one of the most popular cities in the USA. Tampa is a part of Florida’s Gulf Coast, also known for museums and other cultural offerings. I will definitely explore the downtown Tampa and other great places in the future! (I will create a blog post about my first visit to Tampa soon.)

The past week has been amazing for me. It was filled with excitement, relaxation, fun, nature, adventure,  bravery, and wellbeing. I am grateful for what I did during the past week including visiting Tampa for the first time. 😁🥰
