Weekly Diary: February 28 - March 6, 2025

Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of February 28 - March 6, 2025. ! This diary took place in Naples, Florida which is my Florida residence.

Friday, February 28 -  I ate Wawa's banana bread for breakfast. I was working on my iPad all day. I ate my favorite wrap - turkey Brie apple and jello for lunch. I watched "Disney's Ice Princess" on Disney+ in honor of the late accomplished actress, Michelle Trachtenburg who was recently found dead. Rest in Peace, Ice Princess! 👑 🧊  I took a few pictures of myself for CP awareness month social media post and I worked on the post. I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner - I had onion bloom, filet mignon with house salad and sweet potato- enjoyable dinner.

Saturday, March 1 - I ate a mini lemon cake for breakfast- yum! My CP awareness month post was finally posted on my social media. I chatted with my friend about her visit to see me in April. I created the itinerary for her. I ate a turkey Brie apple wrap and jello for lunch. On my way to Bravo (it's 30 minutes away from my house) dinner with my caregiver, we forgot my purse at home. I can't believe that situation was happened. I changed the plans. Instead of going to Bravo, we stopped at my house to get my purse and then headed to Carrabba's for dinner. I got a strawberry limoncello martini, zucchini fritte, Italian chicken soup, and new lemon asparagus linguine with grilled chicken. It was a delicious meal. When I got home from dinner, I ate a cookie my mom got from her special event. I was watching 2 episodes of Friends shortly before I went to bed around midnight but I started falling asleep so that made me go to sleep 😴
My CP Awareness Month Post Picture- Green represents raising awareness about CP.

Sunday, March 2 - I got up around 9:30am and did my morning routine. I ate a half of broccoli quiche for breakfast. I tracked analytics on my cerebral palsy awareness post- the post got at least 55 likes and 525 views on instagram, and 320 views and 32 likes on facebook. I went to walk around the neighborhood with my caregiver. While we are walking around the neighborhood, we got splashed by sprinklers twice. We went to Mel's Diner for dinner - I had a pesto glazed salmon meal. I watched Oscars with my mom. During Oscars, I looked through the dresses celebrities wore on the web. Cynthia Ervio and Ariana Grande's Oscars performance was beautifully brilliant as it brought tears of joy to my eyes. Their singing voices sounded like a memorable song. ❤️ I am so happy that Wicked won 2 categories- Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. Zoe Saldana won the Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Emilia Pèrez. Anora won 5 awards including Best Picture and Best Actress. I wanna watch Anora, The Substance, and Emilia Pèrez later this month.

Monday, March 3 - I ate a half of broccoli quiche and blueberry muffin for breakfast. My caregiver from the state, Nya arrived down here. (She has been my state caregiver since June 2024. She is paid through my Medicaid waiver.) We were catching up all day. We gave Nya our house tour. We were talking about our itinerary. . I went outside with Nya for about an hour. While we were sitting outside, she read me blog posts. She laughed like a baby lol but she enjoyed reading it. She showed me the recent pictures of her family and friends.  I had a spaghetti and meatballs dinner with my parents, Nya, and Danielle. My mom made the dinner.  Danielle and I showed Nya how my shower routine and night routine looks like in Florida. She gave Nya a professional care advice. At 10pm, I ate some orange sherbet, a Girl's Scout mint cookie, and a tea cookie for dessert.

Tuesday, March 4 -  Fat Tuesday (a day before Lent starts- people consume all fatty foods) - I woke up early to pee at 6:30am. I went to pee before bed last night. I ate a blueberry muffin for breakfast. I had Nya did my bun - it's a perfect bun for lazy days and beach days. was checking social media including Instagram. I added at least 5 stories on my Instagram including my bun, 2 organizations mentioned me on instagram (I appreciated their recognition and support), and Wicked's Marissa Bode's Oscars prep reel. I ate leftover lemon asparagus linguine with grilled chicken from Carrabbas for lunch. Nya and I went to walk around the neighborhood but we noticed that some grey clouds have a little bit of rain drops - not heavy and not wet. I prepared for tomorrow's beach. Nya walked to the nail salon and she got her pedicure done. She was late for dinner and she came back to my house around 7pm. We had a cheeseburger meal for dinner. My mom made the dinner. I ate 3 slices of various cheesecakes for dessert.
The video clip shows that I am wearing a bun in my hair.

Wednesday, March 5 - Ash Wednesday (the first day of Lent. Lent is a period of fasting and regret for one's sins that is observed on the 40 weekdays from Ash Wednesday to Easter by many churches. I am Catholic and I am following the Lent rules.) I can fast Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. I can't eat meat those holy days and every Friday during the Lenten season. I gave up eating chocolate and junk desserts for Lent. I read Ash Wednesday readings. . "Indeed, the ashes help to remind us that our lives are fragile and insignificant: we are dust, from dust we were created, and to dust we shall return,"

I ate a blueberry granola bar for breakfast. I spent the beach day with Danielle and Nya. It was a beautiful day but it was windy. On our way to the beach, we gave Nya a tour of 5th Avenue South via our car. We parked on the 5th Avenue South beach. There's a little curb on the beach so my beach wheelchair can be popped up onto the beach. We brought cold lunch to the beach. I ate grilled cheese and grapes for lunch. I got a mild sunburn from the beach. My sunburn was not painful. When we left the beach, we went to Port Royal as a tour by car - Port Royal is a wealthy neighborhood that embodies the atmosphere of wealthy homes and lakes. The neighborhood is beautiful but expensive. Many rich people live in the neighborhood. Then we went to Wynn's Market so we got prepared meals for dinner. I also got triple berry muffins. At home, I posted my reel of beach on social media. I ate Wynn's salmon dinner for dinner. I video called my bestie and we had a great conversation. She said she was so excited to come meet me at Hard Rock Casino next Friday 14th.
The video shows that I am enjoying the beach 🏝️
Me with my caregiver from Cincinnati, Nya @ Naples Beach

Thursday, March 6 - I ate oatmeal for breakfast. I was working on my packing list for Hard Rock Casino via iPad. (I am going to Hard Rock Casino next Thursday though Saturday). I had PT at 11am. I ate a turkey apple Brie wrap and jello for lunch. I am still recovering from my sunburn. The sunburn appears on my arm, both of my thighs, face, upper chest and shoulders. The areas are mild but not painful. I went to walk to Off the Rock Tavern with Nya for dinner. At the restaurant, I got a rum punch, fried ravioli, and pierogies. When we walked back home, I got somewhat chilly. The weather was cool and a little warm. I was comforted in a blanket so that made me feel warm up.

The past week has been great for me. It was filled with excitement, relaxation, fun, joy, laughter, positivity, and wellbeing. I am grateful for what I did during the past week. 😁🥰
