Weekly Diary: March 7 - 13, 2025

Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of March 7 - 13,  2025. ! This diary took place in Naples, Florida which is my Florida residence and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

Friday, March 7 - I ate a triple berry muffin for breakfast. I saw the Facebook post that Wicked's Marissa Bode came to my hometown of Cincinnati for the Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival. I can't believe that in my eyes! I wish I was there to meet her. What a special moment to remember. I ate a fried ravioli and apple slices with peanut butter for lunch. Nya talked to me about potential project opportunity- she asked me to do something for her business and I said yes I would love to work for her. When I was getting dressed for dinner, I noticed that the straps of my new dress were slipping over my shoulders. I asked my mom and caregiver for help to prevent the straps from slipping. My mom got an idea! She attached a string to the straps of my dress and they were tied together. What a great hack. My caregiver, Amanda came to my house with her baby niece and they spent a little time with me, Nya, and my parents. Amanda picked me and Nya up and we headed to her house so her baby was picked up by her mom. Then we went to Bistro 821 on the 5th Avenue South for dinner. At the restaurant, we sat outside. There is a heater next to our table. I had goat cheese spring rolls and caprese risotto with salmon. I also got a glass of Chardonnay wine. At home, I started watching Emilia Pèrez on Netflix. I paused the movie at the middle of the movie. I will resume watching it later and write my review once it is finished.

Saturday, March 8 - I ate a broccoli cheddar quiche and small fruit cup for breakfast. I quickly created a reel in honor of International Women's Day and posted it on my Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. I ate my favorite wrap and jello for lunch. I spent the afternoon playing through my iPad. I went to Mercato with my two guests, Nya and Amanda. At Mercato, I gave Nya some tour. There was a gorgeous flower framed display behind the tree. We got a chance to take pictures of us with the display. We visited the art gallery which features contemporary art and displays including Headless Couture Mickey statue. This was the most cool piece I ever saw! We had a magnificent dinner at Rocco's Tacos. At the restaurant, we shared guacamole appetizer and grilled wings. I also got Rocco's Simply Grilled Skirt Steak with Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Avocado. I drank 2 watermelon margaritas. We caught up and laughed allot all night. I felt like I was laughing allot about hilarious things. When I went to bed, I was falling asleep 😴 I can't believe that tomorrow is daylight savings time start so I turned 1 hour forward on my clock. That means the sunrise and sunset will appear an hour later. That's one of my favorite times of the year.

Sunday, March 9 - The sunrise time was 7:45am. I got up around 9am. I got dressed. I went to Skillets for brunch with Nya. My dad gave us a ride to and from the restaurant. At the restaurant, I had an orange juice in a frosty mug and a strawberry blintz with scrambled eggs and chicken sausage- the meal was delicious. I picked 2 dresses for my trip to Hard Rock Casino Hollywood. Instead of going to the park, Nya wanted to get in the pool one last time because this was her last full day in town so she leaves tomorrow morning. We enjoyed being outside together for an hour but I was sitting in the outdoor table with my iPad Pro  watching Nya and Amanda in the pool. I played Candy Crush Solitaire. Then we went to Sam Sneads for dinner. I had fried mozzarella triangles and penne Alfredo with grilled chicken and 3 vegetables - great dinner. The sunset time was 7:30pm. 

Monday, March 10 - I ate a blueberry muffin for breakfast. Before Nya left around 10am to go home, I thanked her for everything she did for me during the whole week. She did a great job assisting me with my care needs. We shared a big hug as I made her cry tears of joy. I ate a leftover caprese risotto from Bistro 821 for lunch. Danielle helped me pack for our trip to Hard Rock Casino. I worked on my CP Awareness Day video project. I saw BLOC Coffee Shop's Metzcor grand opening announcement on Facebook. I expressed my excitement "I can't wait to stop by the coffee shop when I get back to Cincinnati this summer!" Danielle made me a small salad for dinner with my leftovers from Rocco's Tacos. I finished watching Emilia Pèrez on Netflix. I enjoyed watching the movie -Not only it is a LGBT and musical crime movie but it's also a Spanish-speaking movie. I loved Zoe Saldana and Selena Gomez's performances. They portrayed beautifully well. The ending of the movie shocked me a lot. It's not a bad movie but it's just a satisfying movie. I didn't like a few scenes in the movie because they were too violent or too scary. I rated the movie 7/10. 

Tuesday, March 11 - I ate Asiago cheese bagel my mom bought with regular cream cheese for breakfast. I learned that my mom got food poisoning from the leftover food she ate last night. She decided not to go out for dinner with my caregiver, Amanda's family. I know we were looking forward to going out for dinner with her family but unfortunately, we had to pass it because my mom was recovering from food poisoning. Yikes! I ate leftover fried mozzarella triangles from Sam Sneads for lunch. I played Candy Crush Solitaire. Danielle and I went to Texas Tony's for dinner and we had delicious pulled pork BBQ dinner. 

Wednesday, March 12 -I sent a birthday card and gift card to my school's aide online. I finished packing for my trip. I watched the official trailer for Lilo and Stitch live action- it looked great and somewhat similar to the animated version. I can't wait to see the movie on the Memorial and Day weekend! Danielle and I went to her mom's condo and we spent an hour talking with her son, her brother and his wife. Her mom got surprised to see us at her condo and talked with us. She gave me a raspberry ice tea lemonade seltzer so I drank it and it tasted really good. Danielle and I stopped at Walgreens to get my medicine on our way home for my PT. We made it home on time. My mom made a chicken bacon ranch pasta casserole for dinner- yummy 😋 it smelled comfy and delicious. 

Thursday, March 13 - i left my house for my trip to Seminole Hard Rock Casino Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale at 10:40am. My caregiving girlfriend, Danielle and my mom joined me for the trip. We arrived in the resort around 12:30pm. We spent a few hours at the pool. We had chicken tenders and fries for lunch there. I felt so relaxed at the pool. Before dinner, I spent some time playing slots. I got a huge bonus on Neptune slot machine. . We went to Council Oaks Steakhouse for dinner. I got a Pinot Noir wine, escargot, chopped salad, and a filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes- the meal was so fanciful and delicious. Afterwards, we went gambling 🎰 When we got back to our hotel room, I stayed up late until around 2:30am because I was watching the total lunar eclipse. The moon turned red. I learned that the eclipse was visible in the United States. It was one of the best places to view the eclipse..when we looked into the sky, we felt like we could grab the moon. Friday and Saturday's entries of my new weekly diary are set to take place in the casino resort

Me at The Oculus, a 35-foot central waterfall which is located centrally to the entrance of the Guitar Hotel. It illuminates colorfully bright and features music. The projection matches my dress. 

The past week has been great for me. It was filled with excitement, relaxation, fun, joy, laughter, positivity, and entertainment. I am grateful for what I did during the past week. 😁🥰
