I am sharing the second part of my story with all of you. The second part of my story addresses how I navigated my school years with cerebral palsy. I attended the Perlman Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for preschool. The Perlman Center provides children with cerebral palsy and other physical conditions that can help them live full life. They also support adults with cerebral palsy and other physical conditions. They have great programs such as preschool education, assistive technology, and supportive therapy. I loved the preschool program. I enjoyed spending time with my classmates. Let’s read my new weekly diary of March 21 - 27, 2025!  This diary took place in Naples, Florida which is my Florida residence.   Friday, March 21 - The weather was a little warm and mild but it was nice. I wore a green sweatshirt and black workout leggings. I ate Pillsbury's banana bread for breakfast for the first time- it tasted delicious. I quickly made it with assistance yesterday. Crushed walnuts are optional to be added into the bread. That's a pre-made batter and a quick preparation. I thought it's much better than Wawa banana bread but I still like both brands. I ate a leftover lemon asparagus linguine for lunch. I watched a new episode of Good American Family. Let’s read my new weekly diary of March 14 - 20, 2025!  This diary took place in Naples, Florida which is my Florida residence and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.   Friday, March 14 - it was my second full day at Hard Rock Casino Resort. I woke up at 9:30am as I set the alarm time. I went to pool for at least 4 hours with my mom and my caregiving girlfriend, Danielle. At the pool, we enjoyed relaxing together. I got to be in the water by sitting in a pool twice so I exercised well in the water. We had a grilled cheese meal for lunch. We left the pool to go back to our hotel room at 3pm. I am an adult and I am navigating my daily life with cerebral palsy. As you may have known my life story, I cannot speak or walk on my own because of my cerebral palsy. (If you missed my life story, you should read “ My Story: Living With Cerebral Palsy, Part I: Birth and Childhood ” blog post) Also, I cannot feed myself, dress myself, and drive whereas I can walk with assistance, stand independently, and transfer to any seating positions. I use my iPad to talk to you every day. I occasionally use an alphabetical chart to communicate. I also use a wheelchair. I use leg braces that enable me to move and coordinate my legs actively.  Those supports are always necessary to help me live a healthy and active life and maintain my independence.  I am very independent but I require 24/7 care that meets my personal and compassionate needs. I saw the Facebook post that Wicked's Marissa Bode came to my hometown of Cincinnati for the Over-the-Rhine International Film Festival. I can't believe that in my eyes! I wish I was there to meet her. What a special moment to remember. I ate a fried ravioli and apple slices with peanut butter for lunch. Nya talked to me about potential project opportunity- she asked me to do something for her business and I said yes I would love to work for her. Friday, February 28 -  I ate Wawa's banana bread for breakfast. I was working on my iPad all day. I ate my favorite wrap - turkey Brie apple and jello for lunch. I watched "Disney's Ice Princess" on Disney+ in honor of the late accomplished actress, Michelle Trachtenburg who was recently found dead.
